I'm not sure if you all are hip to the drugstore sales or not but if not then it's definitely time to get savvy! Certain times of the year most drugstore's like Walgreens, Rite-Aid & CVS mark down a lot of their cosmetics. I've seen BOGO deals and even sales from 50-75% off! So a week or so ago I made a trip to my local Walgreens and stumbled across a gorgeous nail color by Rimmel London. I've never tried anything by the brand before so I figured hey, why not ? Boyyyyy I'm so glad I did!
Steel Grey
Glow: Gotta start with the color, I LOVE this color! What's intriguing about it, is that the shade is so versatile. It's not your typical grey, it's more of a mauve which makes me love it even more! The funny thing is that I didn't even notice the " Up To 10 Days " stamped as big as day on the front until after I got home. But of course my initial reaction was " yeah, right ", I was just excited about trying the color but to my surprise it REALLY lasts and lasts......and lasts. And it's affordable! $3.99 isn't bad at all, well worth it!
Glare: The only downside is that I didn't buy more lol
Would I Recommend It? Hell yeah! :-D
Overall Glam: Ok so straight to the point! This nail polish literally lasts 10 days! Technically I only wore it for 9 days and that's only because I was ready for a change in color. I got tired of wearing the same color which is the ONLY reason I removed it. That has NEVER happened to me before, usually I only remove my nail polish when they start to chip, peel or look worn down. Never because I was just tired of it.......lasting :-o Rimmel London has definitely created a winning formula with this one! What girl doesn't want nail polish that can weather the storm? And by storm I mean, washing dishes, house chores and even washing my HAIR! The polish never chipped or peeled and kept its vibrancy all 9 days! Of course I used a base & a top coat and with all honesty I think this polish would last well over 10 days!
Here's a peek of how my nails looked right before I removed the polish. This was Day #9 and still going strong! Notice that the polish started to minimize just at the tips. But the color was still very much presentable & wearable after over a week!
This polish is currently on sale at Walgreens, buy one get one 50% off. I'm not sure whether or not that sale was going on when I purchased this but if I had've known I sure would've bought a 2nd one! I'll definitely be hitting up Walgreens again sometime this week. I don't know how long the sale will last so make sure you check your local stores to find out and JUMP on the deal while you still can!
