China Glaze | Island Escape Summer 2011 | Review + Swatches

My favorite thing about summer has to be the bright and bold colors. The funny thing is, I used to only wear neutrals on my nails and saved all the colorful spunky colors for my toes. I know, such a prude lol. Anyway I'm finally really starting to enjoy color on both my toes and hands. China Glaze introduced their Island Escape Collection for Summer 2011 which consists of a fun and vibrant variety of tropical hues!

Take an exotic island escape with China Glaze this summer with a tropical, shimmering rainbow of brilliant bright colors! Mix and match these hot hues to add a candy-like pop to that summer manicure and pedicure.
Papaya Punch
Crème based vivid orange.

Electric Pineapple
High intensity crème based lime green.

108 Degrees
Flirtatious berry pink with specks of micro glitter.

Blue Iguana
Bold and daring sparkly blue.

Cha Cha Cha
Vivacious shimmer green.

Senorita Bonita
Passionate purple shimmer with pink micro glitter.

Glow: I literally like every color in this collection, they're such fun colors. The two creme's Papaya Punch & Electric Pineapple are definitely my favorites.

Glare: The only thing I would have liked to see is another creme polish in the collection. While the shimmers are gorgeous, I think another creme polish would have blended well with the collection.

Would I Recommend It? Yep!

Overall Glam: The bright colors are so ideal for summer and I know that I will be getting a LOT of wear out these!
