Shopping At Sears | Splurge vs Steal

I've gotta admit that I've been shopping like crazy this season! While I'm not overly festive when it comes to the holidays; I do love to shop the amazing sales at department stores. This past weekend I headed out to the mall and dropped by my local Sears. I swear it's literally been years since I've been inside a Sears. To my surprise they have a lot of really nice and trendy collections including UK Style by French Connection and most recently the Kardashian Kollection.

When it comes to my personal style my golden rule is to follow the three C's, Cute, Casual and Comfortable ;o) I've always been a fan of cardigans and sweater sets because they are pretty versatile when creating different looks and I love layering, especially in the winter. While going through the racks at Sears, I stumbled across the cutest pieces by Beverly Drive.

These pieces include a black Cardigan Sweater trimmed in sequin and a black & antique white lace woven top. I thought these looked really nice paired together so I decided to get them both. They each were also 50% off. The sweater was originally $58 and was marked down to $28.99 and the top was originally priced at $30 and it was marked down to $14.99, both pieces were definitely a steal!

I also found another top that grabbed my attention, which was a cute emerald and navy striped knit tank top from UK Style by French Connection. I initially wanted to pair this top with a navy cardigan but had no luck in finding one. Then I remembered that I had a cream knit cardigan at home that would go perfect with it and also liven up the color!

This top was originally priced at $28 but was marked down to 30 % off which brought the price down to $18.99.

So my favorite part about my mini shopping trip to Sears was seeing the Kardashian Kollection in person! I was definitely in awe as soon as I saw the 10 foot poster of the Kardashian's beaming in the middle of their department.

They had a lot of cute things to choose from; clothes, shoes, bags, sunglasses and jewelry! Needless to say I stayed in that section for at least 30 minutes before making a decision of what I wanted to buy! I initially was going to splurge on a pair of cute shoes but I needed a half size up and unfortunately it was gone.

Since I love accessorizing,  I finally decided that I'd buy jewelry. And just my luck all of the jewelry was on sale for 30% off!

I got these gold drop earrings which were originally $24 but marked down to $16.80

I couldn't leave without a little hand candy so I also got this fab bling statement ring which was $20 originally and marked down to $14. I really love statement pieces and this ring definitely stops traffic ;-)

Overall, I truly enjoyed my shopping experience at Sears and honestly I can't wait to go back! They have tons of cute items and with the holiday season going on they have incredible sales! You can visit searsStyle.com to check out more of their awesome collections!
